Crispy Dill Pickle Dip for Game Day Delights
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whipped cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup finely diced dill pickles
- 1 packet Ranch seasoning
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (reserve some for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons chopped chives (plus extra for garnish)
- Lemon Pepper seasoning
- Thick-cut potato chips or pretzels
Topping:
- ¾ cup Panko breadcrumbs (reserve some for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
- Toast the Panko: In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add Panko breadcrumbs and toss until evenly coated in butter. Cook until golden and toasted. Set aside.
- Prepare the Dip: In a medium bowl, combine whipped cream cheese, sour cream, diced dill pickles, Ranch seasoning, onion powder, lemon juice, grated garlic, fresh dill, and chopped chives. Mix thoroughly.
- Assemble: Sprinkle the prepared dip with the extra toasted Panko and chopped dill for added crunch and flavor.
- Serve: Garnish the dip with additional chives and fresh dill. Accompany it with thick-cut potato chips or pretzels for dipping.
