Get ready to tantalize your taste buds with a fusion of classic cocktail charm and finger-licking goodness. Today, we’re diving into the world of Bloody Mary Wings—a culinary adventure that promises bold flavors and crispy satisfaction.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split at joints, tips discarded
  • 1 cup Bloody Mary mix (Hella Cocktail Co is my favorite)
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons W Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Wings: In a large bowl, combine the Bloody Mary mix, vodka, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, olive oil, celery salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the mixture thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
  2. Prepare the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour half of the Bloody Mary marinade over the wings, ensuring they are well-coated. Reserve the remaining marinade for basting and serving.
  3. Marinate: Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows the wings to absorb the flavors of the marinade.
  4. Grilling Instructions
  5. Baste with Marinade: While the wings are grilling, heat the reserved marinade in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring it to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. This will serve as a basting sauce for the wings.
  6. Baste Wings: Brush the wings with the heated marinade every 10-15 minutes during the last half of the cooking time. This adds extra flavor and a shiny glaze to the wings.
  7. Serve: Once the wings are cooked through and crispy, remove them from the oven. Arrange the wings on a serving platter, garnish with fresh celery sticks and lemon wedges. Serve with the remaining heated Bloody Mary marinade on the side for dipping.

Enjoy your Bloody Mary Wings with a flavorful kick!
