Ingredients:

  • (Optional) 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 russet potatoes, peeled and cubed into 1/4″ pieces
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 1 block unsalted butter, softened
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steaks:
    • Cut the NY Strip steaks into 1″ thick cubes.
    • Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and optionally, chili powder.
    • Toss the steak cubes in a bowl with 1-2 tablespoons of avocado oil to coat evenly.
    • Marinate the seasoned steak cubes in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
