If you’re looking to impress your guests, you need to check out these Buffalo Chicken Shotgun Shells. “Shotgun shells” are all over the internet for a reason—they are super delicious and a fun family activity to prepare!

Cook Time 45 minutes

Servings 3-4 people

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup of you favorite Hot Sauce
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 lb shredded chicken
  • 1/2 block cream cheese
  • Thin-cut bacon
  • Manicotti shells
  • Creole-Style Ranch Dressing (for dipping)
  • Green onions for topping

Directions:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, combine hot sauce, butter, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, and garlic powder. Stir to combine, bring to a simmer, and then remove from heat.
  2. Mix shredded chicken with cream cheese and about 3/4 of the hot sauce (reserve some for later). Stir until well combined.
  3. Stuff the manicotti shells with the buffalo chicken mixture.
  4. Wrap each shell with a slice of thin-cut bacon.
  5. Grill or bake the shells at 300°F until the bacon is thoroughly cooked.
  6. Brush each shell with the remaining hot sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Top with diced green onions and serve with Tony Chachere’s Creole-Style Ranch Dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
