Embark on a culinary journey with our Smoked Chicken and Pulled Pork Brunswick Stew Extravaganza, where leftover smoked pulled pork and meats are transformed into a soul-warming masterpiece. This hearty stew boasts the rich flavors of succulent pulled pork and tender pulled chicken, elevated by a medley of vegetables and a symphony of savory spices.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Whole Chicken (pulled)
  • 2 lb. Pulled Pork
  • 32 oz. Chicken Stock
  • 28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 28 oz. Can Tomato Puree
  • 1 Large Sweet Onion (chopped)
  • 6 Cloves Chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 16 oz. Frozen Package Sweet Corn
  • 16 oz. Frozen Package Diced Potatoes
  • 1 Bottle of Killer Hogs BBQ Sauce (or your favorite BBQ sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Killer Hogs Rub (or your favorite BBQ Rub)
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Instructions:

1.In a large stockpot, melt the butter and sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic for 8 minutes.

    2. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, barbecue rub, and cayenne pepper. Cook for an additional 6-8 minutes.

    3. Incorporate pulled pork, pulled chicken, mustard, and Killer Hogs BBQ Sauce. Stir to coat the meat and cook for 5 minutes.

      4. Add both cans of tomato puree, diced tomatoes, and 32 ounces of reserved chicken stock. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 hour.

      5. Introduce sweet corn, butter beans, and diced potatoes. Continue simmering for an additional 2 hours. Add extra chicken stock if necessary.

        6. Once the stew has thickened to perfection, it’s ready to be served.

        Enjoy the Brunswick stew with a side of homemade cornbread.

        Note: If using raw diced potatoes, add them when incorporating the chicken stock to ensure tenderness.
